When asked about her new position, Steph said:

“I am excited to accept the position of Association Support Officer at the Wanneroo Basketball Association and express my gratitude towards Andrew and the board for giving me this opportunity.

I am eager to apply my experience that I learnt as a Domestic Club Committee member to help our competitions grow, allowing more kids to enjoy the sport of basketball.

Basketball is my passion, and I am ready for the challenges that this role brings.”

WBA General Manager Stephen de Wet had this to say:

“It is great to have someone of Steph’s calibre joining the WBA. Having spent over five years with Phoenix Basketball Club, Steph brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the WBA in her new role as Association Support Officer.

This will be a great asset for her as she works closely with our domestic clubs to support them in their current endeavours as well as helping them and the WBA plan for the future. Steph is a great addition to our staff and we look forward to working with her.”
