The Chambers Franklyn City of Joondalup Wolves are excited to announce the signing of Wolves Junior Jack Kingswood for the 2024 NBL1 West season!
Jack is a talented Wolves junior who has excelled as an elite scorer in the WABL competition. In the 2023 WABL season Jack led all players in scoring, averaging 27.6 points per game. Being one of the top two 3-point shooters in the league, Jack is also a capable inside scorer, being the only player to have made 100+ 2-point shots and 45+ 3-point shots for the year. For his exceptional season, Jack was awarded Wolves 2023 WABL Male Player of the Year.
Jack has been working hard to further develop his game in the NBL1 pre-season and Wolfpack fans can look forward to seeing him in Green, on Van Kailis court at HBF Arena!
Men’s Head coach David Morrell had this to say about signing Jack:
“We are pleased to announce the signing of Jack Kingswood to a rookie contract. Playing U20s last year for Wolves, he was the leading scorer in the comp as a 17–18-year-old. But he has continued to develop athletically, and he’s grown 2 or 3 more inches since last year. The sky is the limit for him as a prospect. He’s a 6’6 combo guard that is a top tier shooter and a great athlete. That is a player type that does not come around very often and we are very excited to coach him hard and help him progress towards his potential as a player.
This contract is well deserved, and Jack will be a valuable member of our squad this year.”
When asked for a statement on his signing, Jack said:
“I am super excited to be signed by the Wolves, my game has gone to the next level under the guidance of David and the club. I can’t wait to play in front of the best fans in the league on the new show court. Joondalup has put together a great team that has big plans on going one step further than last year and aiming to bring home the championship.”
Jack joins teammates Beau Gardiner, Jeremy Combs, Gabe Chadinha, Jonathan Wade, Ethan Elliott, Ben Geel, Christian Jurlina, Caleb Davis, Luca O’Brien, CJ Turnage and Jordan Wellsteed for the Joondalup Wolves in the upcoming 2024 NBL1 West season!
