Wanneroo Wolves

Heartfelt sympathy is extended to Kate’s parents Robyn and David and brother Liam in the very sad loss of their daughter and sister Kate.
Kate was a lovely young lady who will be sadly missed.  Our thoughts are with them.  

Kate was a member of the Wanneroo Basketball Association and played Basketball at the top level.  She was a squad member of the Women’s State Basketball League (WSBL) and represented Wanneroo as a Junior in the Western Australian Basketball League (WABL).  Kate also represented the State.  She played her junior basketball with the Eagles Basketball Club.  She also played for many years in the senior domestic competition with the Giants on Tuesday nights.

Kate’s funeral will be held at the Crematorium Chapel, Pinnaroo Cemetery on Saturday 21 March 2009 commencing at 10.00am.

A number of athletes who have previously played with Kate will be meeting for breakfast before leaving together for the funeral. An open invitation exists for anyone who would like to attend - most of the girls will be wearing either their state or wolves polos.
