The Chambers Franklyn City of Joondalup Wolves are excited to announce the re-signing of Gabe Chadinha for the 2024 NBL1 West season.
Gabe is a Wolves junior who has consistently shown the dedication and commitment to improving his game each year and was awarded Most Improved by his NBL1 coaches in the 2023 NBL1 West season.
Gabe is a lightning fast, athletic guard who can attack the rim with force and give the opposing teams problems on defense, using his strength and lateral quickness to get stops. Wolfpack fans can look forward to seeing Gabe play in Green for the 2024 NBL1 West season on our new show court at HBF Arena!
Men’s Head Coach David Morrell had this to say about re-signing Gabe:
“Gabe is a Wolves junior that is important for us to return. He’s a guy that has tremendous athleticism and fire and impacts the game with that energy. He improved on the defensive end a lot last season, and has a chance to take another step and be among the top tier of perimeter defenders around the league.
He helps us build our identity with our pace offensively as well because he’s so darn fast. He’s still only 20 years old and is a great prospect at the shooting guard position. I am really excited to see him take another step in his growth and development this season!”
Gabe had this to say about re-signing with the club:
“It is truly an honour to continue playing with and being supported by such an amazing family at the Wolves. Being a part of the Wolfpack has always been a privilege for me, so re-signing was an easy decision.
I am grateful for the opportunity to play alongside talented players and dedicated coaches, as well as having the support of passionate Wolfpack supporters. I am excited for the start of the new season, and I can’t wait to see what it has in store for us.”
Gabe joins teammates Jonathan Wade, Ethan Elliott, Ben Geel, Luca O’Brien, Caleb Davis, Christian Jurlina, Jordan Wellsteed and CJ Turnage for the Joondalup Wolves in the upcoming 2024 NBL1 West season!
