The Chambers Franklyn City of Joondalup Wolves are excited to announce the signing of Wolves Junior Beau Gardiner for the 2024 NBL1 West season!
Beau Gardiner is a Wolves junior who has excelled throughout his WABL career. He’s a 6’5 forward who can compete on the boards and contribute both offensively and defensively. Beau most recently played in the 2023 WABL season as an Under 20, where he averaged 13.8 points per game. In the lead up to the 2024 NBL1 West season, Beau has shown a consistent and determined effort to improvement, which has earned him a roster spot under Head Coach David Morrell.
Wolfpack fans can look forward to seeing Beau in Green this season, on our new show court at HBF Arena!
Men’s Head coach David Morrell had this to say about signing Beau:
“We are thrilled to announce the signing of rookie Beau Gardiner to his first NBL1 player contract. Beau is a former WABL player of the year for our association. He’s a Wolves junior from U12’s all the way up through now to the senior program. This year, he’s earned his way to his first contract and to stick in the NBL1 program. He is 6’5, with a strong frame and great versatility. He can play multiple positions and does the dirty work out on the floor that helps his team and teammates be successful.
We are excited to see what the future can hold for Beau, and how much better he can get throughout the year.”
When asked for a statement on his signing, Beau said:
I’m very grateful for the opportunity to play for the club I grew up watching. I’m excited to represent the Wolfpack at the highest level and can’t wait to get out there on the new show court.”
Beau joins teammates Jeremy Combs, Gabe Chadinha, Jonathan Wade, Ethan Elliott, Ben Geel, Christian Jurlina, Caleb Davis, Luca O’Brien, CJ Turnage and Jordan Wellsteed for the Joondalup Wolves in the upcoming 2024 NBL1 West season!
