The stability of coaching staff enables a consistent level of player development to be achieved, and enables the Wolves to consistently produce players, coaches, officials and teams who excel in state-based, national and international competition.Ben Ettridge - Men's SBL Head Coach
The Wanneroo Basketball Association has appointed Ben Ettridge as head coach of the Men’s SBL team for the 2011 season.
Ettridge is highly regarded in basketball circles, having achieved wide success as the head coach of the Australian Men’s Wheelchair Basketball team which includes a Paralympic and World Championship gold medal and leading the Perth Wheelcats to four national championships and one world club championship.
He is also a seasoned veteran of the State Basketball League, having played more than 200 games between 1993 and 2004.
“Ben identified that he would like to work very closely with our development league, U20s and U18s, which is what the Wanneroo Basketball Association stands for - developing our youth,” he said.
