Congratulations is extended to star WSBL player, multiple SBL All-Star and former WNBL player Shani Caldwell for her Life Membership, awarded at the 2019 SBL Season Sundowner.

The culture of an Association is driven by those members who give their all, through good times and bad. It's about what they can do for the Association, not what the Association can do for them

Such an individual is someone who:

• Resilient
• Self-Sacrificing
• A leader
• Dedicated
• Consistent; and
• Loyal

Over the journey, the Wolves have seen many players who have committed themselves to the Pack, playing a significant number of games with the club.

Renee Matthews, Ainsleigh Sanders, Kylie Kvesich are just a few, with Nikki Gerryn leading the way with 228 games played for the Wolves. 

Shani Caldwell reached 230 games played during the 2018 season.

Joining the Wolves the same year that I did, Shani has represented the wolves since under 16’s and has a very decent CV:

• WBA Female Player of the year
• Multiple WA State Teams
• Representing the West Coast Waves in the WNBL
• An SBL Championship in 2013; and
• Holding the Captaincy of the Wolves – including one GF defeat.

 From an SBL perspective:

• Over 2,000 points
• 800 assists
• 400 steal and
• 1,000 rebounds

 
An outstanding career that will continue in 2020 - Shani is an outstanding role model for aspiring juniors within the Association.
